Ovariohysterectomy (Spay) is performed at 4 months or older. Your pup goes home same day (cats spays stay overnight).  She must return for suture removal in 10-14 days.

Castration ( Neuter ) Performed at 4 months or older. Your pooch or cat goes home same day. No skin sutures necessary.

Declaws (cats only) are performed at 4 months or older, usually at the same time as a spay/neuter. 

Dewclaw Removal and Tail Docking (dogs only)  is performed at 3-5 days in newborn puppies. Otherwise they may be removed from older dogs at time of spay/neuter surgery.

We perform a multitude of other surgeries.  For your convenience, we are also partnered with Board Certified Surgeons who, by appointment, will come to our hospital to perform surgeries.

For any animal undergoing anesthesia, we ask that they do not eat anything after 10pm the night before the surgery, or the morning of surgery; water is okay.  

Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians continually monitor our patient's vitals using our cutting edge veterinary equipment. 

Our CARDELL monitors your pets blood pressure, oxygenation level, heart rate, carbon dioxide levels, and EKG during anesthetic procedures.

Just as in human medicine, referrals to Board Certified Specialists are available.  Sometimes unexpected health issues arise and like you, your veterinarian wants the best treatment plan for your furry family member.
